My name is Joanna bright and im a 4th year Fine Art and Design in Education student at the HKU. I mainly focus myself on cinematography, painting and photography. I enjoy experimenting with visual effects and creating storylines with messages that are important to me. Incorporating challenging conversations in my work is what drives me and where I want to develop myself the most. In my work I mostly always work with subjects surrounding discrimination and minorities, stories that I feel need to be told. this ranges from personal stories about my childhood and father figure to stories of the people close to me that have a story to tell. The latter is where I will be focussing on the coming year. collaborative work and telling the stories that need to be heard.
